I am on the hunt for a really good face mask, ever since I had my daughter my skin has been ten times worse!
Believe me it is not for a lack of trying to find the right product or cutting out certain things in my diet. Yes I have been on various medications as well so Im not “google doctoring “ myself. Currently I have cut my dairy , carbs, sugar and alcohol in take by at least 50% if not more, upped my vegetable and fruit intake but I am still struggling with constant break outs and black heads -lets be honest at my age it sucks and your skin is the first thing people see and judge you on (evens if they don’t think they are).
I have always been impatient when it comes to my skin- I would chop and change products every few months. So last year I decided to get a specific product and religiously use it ….11 months later Im not sure it did anything for me. Before I started using – Benzaderm range for oily skin I did my research and people raved about it. Unfortunately for me I am that 1% that nothing works for.
Anyway so I found that these are current the three masks that people are talking about all in reasonable budget range.
Nivea – 1 minute – Urban Detox Mask – There are two:
*Pore refine – self heating formula with magnolia extracts
*Moisturise- with green tea and hyaluronic acid.
Retail price: R100 each
Garnier– Pure Active 3 in 1 -wash , scrub and mask
Retail price: R88
The Body Shop– Himalayan charcoal purifying glow mask
Retail: R 330
So over the next few weeks I will be trying these and hopefully we will have a winner 😉
